As long as you use a relay harness, your HID's shouldn't be cutting out on you at all... Ever...

4300K HID's is what you want, if you go that route...

My truck has had the front end leave the ground multiple times, and my HID's didn't even blink... :dunno:

Headlight wise, HID's work best in either a quad headlamp system, or an actual bixenon HID projector...
An actual HID retrofit is always the best way to go

If you can run 9005 bulbs in your fogs, though, look into the Toshiba HIR bulbs!

Yeah I think my next step back into HIDs will be with a retrofit like Steve did. I haven't looked into if I can use 9005s yet. That would be awesome if I could though!

I'll look into the Toshiba HIRs though

A retrofit is a little more costly, but it's definitely worth it... Especially if you use OEM ballasts and such

I'm pretty sure you can run 9005s. A lot of guys with the rectangular fogs run them without melting. Us round fog guys aren't so lucky. The reason to run 9005s over 9145s is because the 9005s are a high beam bulb, so they will produce more light.

Yeah I think I can get away with 9005s too, but I started a thread over at f150online to just double check.
