New or Used?

Which do you buy most often, new or used?

Only ever bought one vehicle, and it was used, because I was 16 at the time.

Once I'm out of college and looking for a DD, I'll probably look in the ~1-2 year old range, just so I don't take the initial depreciation hit.

I like getting the projects truck for free. I buy used 98 and older. If want to change the exhaust its 1980 and older.

:wtf:

In VA you can't put dual exhaust on a vehicle newer than a 80 according to state law.

Va wont even exhaust shops do that kind of work either to other va residents. I can take to WV and have them do it but I would have trouble passing safety inspection then.

Used, cant afford new at todays prices. Last new one I bought was in 1978, 4500.00 with 2 miles on it.

the next truck i buy will be used because i hate emissions and i like the style of older trucks.
