The best headlight restoration kits use sandpaper to remove the top layer of crud. That OTC Meg's kit only uses a buffer pad on a drill. Your best bet would be to gather a few materials yourself and do it. Similar to my thread, but you can easily do that by hand. I just did it with the polisher to look fancy.
Also, be sure it's stuff on the outside of the lens, and not condensation on the inside. I thought my buddy's old Jeep had crud on the outside, but when I went to polish them up I realized it was an interior housing problem.
I not sure if its on the outside yet. I know it doesn,t come off when using a fingernail. I might pickup a plastic putty knife at walmart tomorrow to be sure.
