I personally haven't used it but I have read several positive reviews from members about it. I would buy it myself if I needed it.

all scummed up with white cloudy stuff.

:wtf:

. But on a serious note, I find the same results with 2000 grit wet sanding paper, Meguiar's Plast-X, and Meguiars #26 sealant/your choice of synthetic wax. No need for headlamp kits imo. I did a '90s Jeep Grand Cherokee which had yellow gunk faded headlamps, they looked brand new after 15mins per headlamp.

I was watching one of them car shows on tv, they used tooth paste and a cloth, I'm not saying it will work, but I would give it a shot.....can't hurt...:dunno:

I would certainly suggest my method of using some 2000k wet sanding paper, with some dishsoap. Get the water all sudsy, real slick and lubricated, and milding sand them. Those blinker lights really need it. After a few wipe offs you will begin seeing the difference, and try the Plast-X and it should clean them up very clearly.

Paint that bow tie green too!

I've always had good results using the Novus 3-stage kit on any plastic lenses that need cleaning and polishing.

Once you get the lenses cleared up, go to a Harley-Davidson dealership and get a bottle of "Harley Glaze"...kinda expensive, but worth it.

It'll put a wax-like coating on your lenses making bug guts and what not wipe right off when you wash your truck. Plus it keeps them from getting scratched up again.

The best headlight restoration kits use sandpaper to remove the top layer of crud. That OTC Meg's kit only uses a buffer pad on a drill. Your best bet would be to gather a few materials yourself and do it. Similar to my thread, but you can easily do that by hand. I just did it with the polisher to look fancy. :D

Also, be sure it's stuff on the outside of the lens, and not condensation on the inside. I thought my buddy's old Jeep had crud on the outside, but when I went to polish them up I realized it was an interior housing problem.
