You could try it for awhile, I agree with Brian though it looks better on older more squared out trucks. Your front end doesn't match any of the lines of the bar, a round tube bar would look better.

I like the idea of black... but realized after i voted that as Zembonez said, chrome = bad news Chewbacca to paint
. if it's going on a Ford, make sure the gap on the bottom is going to fit your bumper- sometimes they do, sometimes they dont. i had an issue with fitment on a similar bar for my XJ, it was made to fit a Wrangler which has a narrower bumper than a Cherokee. but if it fits, i'd say go for it
