Then I guess you should have kept the Camaro and traded in the truck....
The truck is paid for. It's not costing me to sit in the driveway. The Camaro was costing me, every single month, whether it sat or not. So, it needed to go. :)

Had the dealership been closer to MY side of town, I likely would've traded them both in at the same time. But, I wasn't dealing with trying to ALSO get my truck over there. I'll probably trade it off and get something that gets a lot better fuel economy. Maybe a low miles VW TDI or something. :dunno:

You will miss the truck. I won't have anything else. To hell with the gas mileage...

We're not wired the same, you and I. I didn't really miss my Denali after I traded it off. Truth be told, had I not started working for who I work for and got such a great discount on the truck, I doubt I would've bought the Silverado... I've always preferred SUV's over pickups because of the concealable storage in the back. I hardly EVER "haul" anything. With the discount, though, the Silverado let me buy something relatively inexpensive (compared to a Tahoe, let's say) that could do the Colorado road trip stuff, which I haven't done a ton of the last couple of years.

IF I trade the truck for a commuter, that vehicle will most likely NOT be a road trip car. That'll just be a run back & forth to work 15k miles a year and keep the bulk of those miles off the vehicle I PREFER driving (which the Silvrado has done a LOT of, so far).

Cool pic's. The wheels actually look better dirty, and that burger joint is just to cool.

"Look better dirty."

I've said similar about my truck a number of times, but most people don't get it.

Yeah, I wish the burger place wasn't a nearly 90 mile round-trip, plus any excursions. Oh well! I may run down there once every few months, if I can find some more good driving roads in that area. :dunno:

I wanted to get out and stretch its legs a little (and see how well *I* did IN it for more than brief drives). I also found a Motorcycle Roads website that had some twisty roads in that area. So, I killed two birds with one stone.
