Just incase anyone was wondering the block was polished. I had it boiled 3 times when it was being bored out and it still looked bad. Always wanted a polished block, this being a bucket list build why not. That’s what it’s all about.

Word of caution: Once you do one piece you are stuck doing everything.

Here is a bit about my background. I have been machining for 32 years. This includes Tool Maker, Tool and Die maker, CNC Machinist, Job Shop Machinist. I also have a small shop to putter in for my own stuff for 15 years.

Throughout that time span I have built custom motorcycles, Hotrods and a few Rigs.

I hope that you don’t mind my blanket appreciations. If so let me know. I will however try and answer your questions individually as best as possible.

I have been on this build for about 2 years now and have a few other build threads going. Spent quite a bit of time putting the build threads together well documented with detailed pics. There is a lot of info to share and I will post it up in spurts so you have enough time to look at it and ask questions.
