Mine is going to be too. And it deserves it. Its been outside for 2yrs and in a garage maybe a dozen times in that period. I've never parked anything other than my motorcycle (which can't be driven in the snow anyways) before so it will be hard not to want to drive it. But it will be 40 minutes and 25mi away.

I'd just winterize it the same as your bike. Full tank with stabil fuel run through it. Then change the oil. Keep the tires off the ground, and put the battery inside. I'd toss a charger on it for giggles to keep it alive. Basic chargers are pretty cheap. If the battery will fit in the alt. vehicle, I'd switch them out every week otherwise. Stuff a sock in the exhaust to keep things from crawling in there.

This reminds me that I need to winterize my bike as well, it's been sitting for the last month, but I've miss placed my only key some where. We're busy sort of moving, so it could be almost anywhere.

Looking at the price of used vehicles in the states has always made me jealous, because they all seem so cheep compared to what we have here. Though prices in Victoria are inflated some what for everything. The Jeeps you linked would all be in the 5 range here, instead of the 3. Though we also don't all have second winter vehicles, because it doesn't get bad enough for it. We had 2 inches of snow the other day, and pretty much the entire city shut down, and the news called it a snow storm, :dunno:
