[don'tcha know]
I've heard the tarp idea a lot from the people I know who store cars during the winter.
Full tank of gas and Sta-bil or Seafoam. I don't see how a cover could hurt. The only other thing I would say is something to keep the mice away.
When we winterize our boat we put it on jack stands, cover it and put seafoam in the tank. We run the gas out of the motor with the tank disconnected. We also throw a couple of dryer sheets in it and plug holes with them too. Heard it keeps mice away and it smeels good come spring.
We don't put a tarp under it but the hull was made to be put in water...
