Window tint..

Strip across the top gets my vote . I have a friend with his whole windshield done and it is hard to see out of.

Texas takes tint law seriously (at least in the highly populated parts). A tinted windshield would land you in trouble right away. An added strip across the top can block your annual inspection, and 35% is ALL you can run on side windows legally.

I have 20% on my front windows and 5% everywhere else. So far I haven't been pulled in this truck but I have been in the past.

I have the top tinted only and that really helps with the sun. It is 5% tint on the windshield strip but I have no problems at night.

Any window tint thats not stock is illegal here Even though every Tom, Dick,Harry, Sue and Sally have it on their vehicles. I got stopped in my 90 GMC with 35% on the side windows, I told the cop I wouldn't pay a ticket or take my tint off( they'll make you razor blade it off here) there wasn't anything they could do as I was able to point out several vehicles in the adjacent lot with darker tint.

Yep thats him. We were coming back from just getting our windsheilds tinted.

I've always had 20% tint on every window (except the windsheild) of every vehicle. Only got a ticket one time in my Cutlass for it, but the cops was being a total dick anyway, so I expected he would. We got pulled over in my wifes car by a dick who pulled us solely for the tint, nothing else. In the 4 years and numerous times shes been ticket since having that car, that was the one and only time any cop even mentioned the tint being too dark. It was a Bossier City LA cop, and I've heard they are all total A-holes, and every run in I've ever had with a Bossier City, LA cop, I'll agree with that stereotype.
