Congrats! Too bad the 2002+ models lasted 3yrs till they crapped out :lol:. No verification behind that, but i've never heard wonderful reviews on them like I have the '95 - '01s. Had an '02 sport myself.

No...you're right. They were garbage.

Well... maybe not garbage. You tend to exaggerate a bit, but they were NOT nearly as well screwed together as the older ones. I would not buy one.

yea the 4.0 of those years were rock solid, and they had quite a bit of power for the explorer sladh ranger. my grandma has this 91 ford ranger reg cab 4x4 4.0 and that som bitch is fast. it will haul ass and out run alot of things.

The farm truck we have is a 93 GMC 1500 2wd(IIRC) with 452000km/281000miles and it still runs good but our Canadian winters have grabbed a hold of the body....:(

i don`t think (no, actually i know) i will ever see that many miles on one of my personal vehicles. but i`ve probly put on 300 000 plus kilometers on multiple service trucks over the years! :) pretty amaizing stuff what a little maintenance will get yah.

I agree. I've never even put 100K on a personal vehicle. This on is my work sled.
