It's not heaven . . . it's Iowa!
Congrats! :wookie: :wookie:

It's amazing what happens when someone takes care of a vehicle.

Half of the bad wrap most cars get are probably directly attributable to the lack of care the owners take of them.

:werd: I know some people with some pretty rough looking 2 yr old cars!

Congrats! Those were the best looking Explorers Ford ever made.

The 2002+ weren't as solid as the previous models, but when taken care of they were still decent SUVs. A lady I work with has almost 170k on her 2003 Explorer and hasn't had any major problems at all. :dunno:

My friends '94 2WD Ext. Cab ranger has the 4.0... He is NOT mechanically inclined... No the best on maintenence... And that sucker is still quicker than my 4.3, and he's an auto

I'm not a big Ford guy, but those were solid units :)

I drove a '93 1/2 ton GM that had 760,000km (472242 miles) on it... Never had a rebuild on the engine, or trans... And that was noticable... But she still fired up and drove home every time

ALMOST 213,000 miles today. Should hit it tomorrow. I've become real friends with this old Explorer.
