Ok, you have a good fight. But these weren't shipped to US until after '61. The one you posted as a comparison is RHD. We wouldn't be able to settle this until we go the numbers. If you win, I'll ship you some good beer or wine from WA. I just want it on my trailer coming home with me.

Only if it was RHD would it be a 55.

Sorry, I don't buy that... It's a 55 nose and grill, and a 55 rear, ergo it's a 55, no matter what side the wheel is on. Could be a very rare 55 though, with LH drive, possibly for export to Canada...

Fair, now Semo needs to get us some numbers. First is price and where I can pick it up. Second is the "VIN". NAS standards between US and Canada were very similar.

Semo a warning: I do not want to send a case of wine to VA, I would rather have it myself. Better get the correct numbers.....:uhoh:

I don't think that's a defining mark. Look at a few and you'll see that mirror position varied greatly, even within the same year and model. I have a feeling they were dealer added options.

And, you're off the hook on the beer and/or wine. My g/f has a genuine, bona fide, allergy to alcohol and the only thing I do with the stuff is cook with it. A six pack of beer will last me two years, and I've had the same pint of rum sitting in my pantry for seven years now, still more than half full. :D

Ok, that sounds great!!! Well, not the part about the alcohol allergy or the fact that I might loss. Just that I don't have to pay shipping on a heavy box. We were the only ones playing Semo's game. I think we were set up.
