Oh I agree, but I have heard CO has been getting hit harder here lately.

The few years that I've been following things up there, it seems like the fear of what "could" close vs. what actually gets closed are vastly different things.. This last summer, I believe I even remember reading about a couple of trails being reopened.. :dunno:

I guess my point (or at least my thinking) is.. If you want to move there and enjoy the trails, enjoy 'em. If one of your favorites gets closed, there are TONS of other trails..

Very good points right there. I guess if I worry about all that trails that might close I may as well stay here in GA.

I agree with that. Where ever I do end up, I plan to be very active in fighting the enviro nazis. I love the off road life style and I plan to do what I can to protect it for my son to enjoy it.

I am from Florida, I just got stationed up here about six years ago. I have spent many a days playing in the mud. Driving around in circles in am ud hole is fun and great for hanging out for the day. But I love spedning sveral days out on a trail over coming obsticles.

Granted Cali's cost of living is through the roof and we have a lot of Greenies here but you can't beat the weather and the amount of off-road areas. We have many Nat'l forests with tons of trails to ride.

Yeah,we have earthquakes but most are never felt.Someday we might be our own island

I have. I am narrowing my search to areas I want to live first. Then I will worry about the deal breakers.
