Which do you like better 8 track, records, cd's, etc.

We have a ton of vintage, mint condition record albums. I have a lot of original master stuff too. Played through my system on my vintage Sony magnesium base turntable and a high end cartridge, there is no comparison in the sound quality. Pure analog is pure bliss. CDs don't come close (although we have a bunch of them). Digital formats take away the warm original sound and add harshness.

Don't get me started on just how shitty the sound quality of MP3s is. They may be convenient but they are far from good sounding if you are any sort of audiophile.

I always liked the Compact Disc, but nowadays they're about to obsolete.
