Re: Wheels - Time for some changes

Stop giving Tobias 'Lip'. :)

I have to say though, I'm not exactly striving for a 'classy' look with my truck, more of a 'Mad Max', Special Ops look. The gloss black lipped BMF's worked great on both of your trucks, but they're not aggressive/tough looking enough for the look I'm going for which is why the Kranks looked so bad photoshopped on my truck. So, I see what Tobias is getting at.

Also, I've noticed, with a deep lip, when you look at a truck with a deep wheel at an angle, you don't see the face of the wheel.

Seems like that type of wheel is popular on the west coast, all those guys go with the deep Hostages, Deep Octanes..etc.

As far as looking stuffed, I may disagree with you, the 35's look rather small on my truck at these angles.

Lose the fifth wheel and put a machine gun there to complete the mad-max look. Oh, and you're gonna need some extruded metal and some tin siding somewhere too. :D

Thanks for the recommendation, but American Racing needs to hire a new wheel designer for their ATX series wheels. Things were looking promising with the Thugs, but designs have gone down the crapper ever since.

You know what I was getting at, smart ass, and I know you agree with the point I was trying to make too. Ok, so it's more Special Ops then. :D

Yeah, I knew. :D

It does need a nice AR-15 rack in the back window though. :D

You could get a nice billet lower and have your skull and wings carved in it. Would look BFA.

Clearly, that'd just be for at shows and such but it'd look cool in there.

A billet lower? Explain please.

Billet lower receiver for the AR, sorry.

One of these, with your your skull and wings engraved in it.

HAHA, you are one crazy mofo.

Oh, I'm thinking of switching over to another tire too, the Toyos are a great tire but they've become way too common.

I think I like the looks of the two below tires a bit more, and after researching found they're just as good with wear and street manners.

The Mickey Thompson MTZ tires are great tires too, and they look tough too.

And the Pro Comp Xtreme Mud terrain tires are also very very nice tires and comparable.

I like the MTZ a lot more than the Pro Comps.
