Re: Wheels - Time for some changes

Those Pro-Comps look much better but anything bigger than an 18" in that would look odd, IMO.

Agreed, I've seen the ProComps in 20's and the spokes look too long and thin.

I would consider going with an 18 and getting more tire, but that would prevent me from upgrading to a big brake kit in the future.

Back in the day 17's w/ 33's. :)

James' old truck 18's w/ 35's.

Truck might look ok with 18's and 35's. I was thinking about trying 37's. I would have to move my NFabs back closer to the rear of the truck since they're too forward, I have room. Does anyone know if they use existing holes, I forget if holes wre drilled for those. And I have 4.88 gears so I could do 37's without an issue gear wise. Guess it would depend on backspacing if I'd have major rubbing issues or not. 18's on 37's would look mean.

18s allow enough room for anything but the most insane brake setup. You should be good.

I was thinking about 2 piston calipers, I thought they need 20's minimum.

What. I posted those already. I thought we agreed they would look better in a smaller size ie. like 15's like on that Jeep they look slick. I think in 20's they will look too open maybe. They also sort of look like my jesters don't they?

I guess the decision I ned to make is, do I want a wheel with a 3-4 inch lip, or do I not want to go in that direction. I can narrow my choices down this way.

They also will NOT be easy to clean with those damned indents and around the bolt heads. :frustration:

You did, and I think in an 18" on 35's they'd look very aggressive.

I think your plan is a good one. Pare down your criteria then come back with something more defined.
