Re: Wheels - Time for some changes

Fair enough.

Finding actual pictures of the wheel (not these typical product shots) in the sizes I'm considering with the same Toyo MC tires would be ideal and go a long way in determining what size would look best.

Can't find any pictures of 20's, which is good and bad. Good cause it's not a common wheel. Bad cause I can't see it on a truck, All that comes up in searches are lot of Tacomas with 17's or 18's on the web. 20's would be easier to clean since the openings would be bigger to get inside the wheel.

I should just order one 20x9 and see if i like it. I'll need 5 total anyway.

18's

If you go with a 37, a 20 will be fine. If you go with the 35, the 18 will look tougher.

yea, they looked more 4d where as non lipped style wheels look flat and don't have as much of a personality.

i would also stick with the 35's i think if you go to 37's it will look too stuffed. i wouldn't run 37's unless i cranked my truck another 1.5" or so

3D?

I get what you are saying now, I think. I think lip can look good, I just don't have a problem with a wheel without them. Sometimes the lips is relied on too heavily and the design sucks otherwise.
