Next mod is probably going to be a tiregate and full size spare. Next spring.

I'm working on this project right now. If the cost isn't outrageous, I'll do it. Otherwise I'll put some or all of it on hold and save for the mechanical stuff I want. (New exhaust, intake, lift etc)

Long story short. I took my obsession with Darth Vader and fused it into a name for my truck and a concept/theme. :loser:

I will be having some things fabbed on my brush/bumper guard and then a custom front skid plate, custom bumper (WAY down the road), rear skid plate (after custom rear bumper and lift is done) then custom decals, eye brow and then maybe rear tint/vinyl.

Front Skid Plate

Custom decals (Thanks 07FX4Chick's for your "sexy edition" decal. It gave me the idea )

Rear Window

For now (if things go as I want them) the letters on front will be engraved and I'll drill some holes in the field of them and the helmet stencil will be water jetted out. Lights behind and maybe a fake purge through the mouth piece down the road.

Rear skid plate will have the bow tie engraved (holes probably drilled) helmet stencil cut out. Lights to where they are incorporated in with the brake/tail/turn lights. Have the helmet light up brighter on braking and left/right 1/2 of bow tie with turn signals.

The rear tint/vinyl thought is probably just wishful thinking. I don't want anything on the outside of the window and IF it can be duplicated (to real close to) on tint the factory tint of the window would probably distort it. :dunno:

With the darkness of my tint I can't really see out of my window but, I CAN see out of it. So even if they couldn't do it in a tint application but, could do it in vinyl. I would be blind out the window and again the factory tint distortion factor.

MY next two recent ones will be glossy B panel pillar covers, and fully PTM mirrors. Then there will not be any more hideous black textured items on my exterior other than the roof antenna stub, and the fender antenna stub. Valance and rear bumper step pads too fo coarse though they aren't flat/faded looking and I do not intend to paint those.

After 2005, Ford considered glossy panels a luxury thing and made them strictly only available on Harley Davidson, and Mark LT. In 2009+ its the Harley Davidson, Lariat Limited, and Platinum editions that only got them.

As you can see, the plain bland finish of the B pillars, and mirrors is hurting my truck's appeal big time.

Ford wants a ridiculous $313 dollars for all 4 of the replacement stick on gloss pieces. Got on eBay and found PillarCovers, where you can get the Carbon Fiber style and Chromed style pillar covers and fond they make gloss piano black! $38 shipped.

Also have my mirrors sanded and ready to be sprayed.

So about $50.00 for the mirrors to be painted next week, $38 for the pillar covers, and about $5.00 for that 3M 60 grit sanding block. Grand total spend, $93.00 and I got two big difference mods done. $313 would have bought only the OEM pillars, and if I didn't get such a generous deal on paint work from the dealership bodyshop it would probably cost me $120! Very grateful :tmc:
