I have a constant 61lbs.+ at the fuel rail, battery's fine, cleaned the MAF sensor. What next?????Replaced the dist. cap & rotor in wifey's Burb.Still didn't start, seemed like it wanted to though. I disconnect the battery(thinking things may reset) & let it sit while I replaced(in my Burb) the tensioner & idler pulleys & the alternator that was making a hell of a loud noise & vibrating badly.
Got mine done went back to wifey's,reconnected the battery & the damn thing started right up?Let it run a few minutes then shut it off.Waited a few minutes, tried to start it ...no go.Waited a few minutes more, tried again....vrooom,started right up.OK,so now

I'll check that next.Gary...
BEFORE turning the key on...
Hold the accelerator to the floor...then try to start it.
Also, check the fuel pressure regulator for "ANY" sing of fuel.
Pull the vacuum hose and if there is ANY SIGN of fuel in / at the hose or nipple, replace the FPR.
