Got it fixed today guys. nothing major thank god. i installed a wolo train horn on it but for some reason the compressor on it has a short. gotta take it back. now the damn thing keeps shutting off. i think it's got trash in the fuel line. idk can't work on it till friday now.

Blew the gaskets on the z71 this morning pulling a tractor with a flat tire. :facepalm:

What year is yours again?



Drove it.

It's a 1990. and i think the only reason it blew was because i noticed a piece of the valve cover was bent into it some and i guess over time and with the heat and stress it kept tearing at it but i fixed it now :lol: just gotta check the fuel line friday now

It's a 1990. and i think the only reason it blew was because i noticed a piece of the valve cover was bent into it some and i guess over time and with the heat and stress it kept tearing at it but i fixed it now :lol: just gotta check the fuel line friday now


SO... did you blow the VALVE COVER GASKET or the HEAD GASKET ?????? :dunno:

That's what I thought...but earlier you had said head gasket...
