What did you do to your truck today?

Wired up the 110 watt halogen spots on the top of the box, installed a switchbox to control them, the lights insid4e the box, and the floods on the rear from the drivers seat, and installed a rack to hold extra antennas to the roof inside the box. Tomorrow I finish up the wiring for the other lights and start installing the inverter, then over the weekend I have new tail lights to install.

Pics of the spots turned on a little later, when I go out to aim them.

Already do! For example, today I had to punch a 3/4" hole through the firewall to run more battery connections. Every bit of wiring I do on it is oversized, for safety. The switchbox I did today is rated 40 amps, but I'm feeding it on 8 gauge marine grade cable direct from the battery with a 0 amp inline fuse. Every connection is crimped and soldered, then sealed with adhesive type heat shrink.

Sat in the driveway and is now getting covered in 3-6" of snow.

That's the way I see it.

And, it makes upgrading later on very easy, though I really don't see myself going with more than 220 watts of lights on the front of the roof anytime soon. :D2

Just took my grand daughter to school. I think she thought she'd melt in the walking in the rain.

Sugar and salt will both melt in the rain... and with teenage girls... it is hard to tell sometimes, which they are, from one day to the next... :dunno:  :rollin:
