Speaking of antenna delete...

Just ordered the Escalade panel without the antenna hole in it about 5 minutes ago.

I was going to mention how much that antenna took away from the line-x look on the sides of your truck... but I didn't want to appear unfriendly.

Really it's more because it gets in the way than anything else, and it needs to be repainted. Might as well just relocate it.

Do you know of anyone that has done it (on my truck or yours)? I'm mostly concerned with the loss of reception (if any).

You can count on a loss of reception any time you remove the antenna from its designed position. It's pretty anal to see an antenna as a distraction on a vehicle. They are almost invisible.
