Yes it was. The sensor had some oil and grit on it. I probably could have gotten away with washing out the old sensor but I installed the new one and cleaned up the old one. If it does it again I will try the old spare before I order a new one again. The culprit is a weeping shaft seal on the shifter shaft. I need to look at a diagram of the T-case and see about getting one. It's not bad but it dripped just enough to cause the problem again after a year and a half.

I gotcha. Good info. I have to do a rear seal on the Tahoe transfer case, it is soaked

Drove it to Interstate battery so they could put me a new battery it was only two years old. I asked them if I should put a slow charge on it but they said it's new and ready to go. What do you guys think?

Lead acid batteries have the best shelf life...

If they're bad they won't take a charge, there's no slow charge required for them



On a side note... I dropped my truck off at Costco... Getting the BFG's put on the nice factory rims, and getting my TripleTreds taken off so I can sell them and 6 rims
