That post is older than dinosaur shit. I've drove it since then. But, I last drove or even saw it, sunday evening.

Why buy new when you can restore?
Got to work in the S10 and was hearing a "clicking" noise like the one you hear when there is a rock stuck in the treads or when you have a nail in the tire. Unfortunately, it was a screw. It looked like one used to hold on plastic/fiberglass pieces found on cars and semis. Pulled it out and plugged it. Hopefully it holds!

Took it to the dealer and found out that my trans leak was the torque converter seal/gasket that was leaking and it IS included in the powertrain warranty. 
What a relief!
Drove to the clinic and back.
Got a physical for work Monday, had to go back today for the follow up and pick up the paperwork.
Fit for another year.
