i think i will take it to my shop and pull the gas tank,,,maybe patch that hole..:dunno:

Not a bad idea if it's leaking. I hope you're not going to weld it.
i think we have some patching material in the shop...i aint dumb enough to weld on a gas tank:loser:

I have welded quite a few, it can be done if you set up right. At least I haven't blown an arm off yet :)

Hook a hose to a running engine and into the inlet of the tank, or a vaccum setup the same way. Just a thought, as I hate to use epoxies.

preciate that!!! if it was a little newer i might consider a real good fix..but what the hell...its just the nite, as long as it holds i dont care!!:cheers:

Loaded my ladders, planks, pump jack poles and saw horses back on it for work tomorrow.
