I'm thinking about doing a Seafoam treatment to my truck. I'm just a little reluctant. The damn thing has been running funny lately, and I think I have a carbon build-up issue. She'll run rough as hell when she's cold, and then smooth out after she warms up. :dunno: This could be my EGR valve acting up. Any ideas?

its an easy thing to clean, just ask gramps he just did his, and i don`t beleive they are all theat much different, his looked just like mine, anther thing is to check for vacuum leaks. are the plugs/cap/rotor/wires fairly new?

Yes, they have less than 10K on them. I was thinking about a vacuum leak also. I've replaced the damn intake manifold gasket twice. Thanks for the advice.

It was raining and it was game day. There's a new piece of land that's been flattened and a small single-lane stretch that's been paved. Since there was no one around I decided to test my 0-60 time with the new custom tunes.

Wheels spun off the line a little (again, raining) and it wasn't a very good day for this but I managed to break 7 seconds. I think that's pretty impressive considering I don't really have many power mods and have to lug these wheels and tires around. Had the bed loaded down with a few things, also. Good day for me. :D

Not to burst your bubble, but I used to have an Edge programmer and those 0-60 times are bogus. Mine read 6.42 one time and I can guarantee you my truck wasn't doing 0-60 in under 6.5 secs. It won't even do that now with a custom street tune.
