I see. I'd bet it was still a great time.

Yes you did. :)

What's the CCA on those?

Only 800 CCA :(

Group 34/78 is the biggest that fits with no mods...

They're going to be wired direct to each other via 0/1 guage wire

Unless they use different wire gauges in Canada, and I didn't hear about it, I think you mean 1/0. And yes, 800 CCA seems to be about the highest you can find in regular LA batteries in that size.

Yep, I meant.1/0 AWG.

I was able to fit a 950 CCA battery in my '85 S10!

I figure two batteries should provide enough juice... A 1/0 should be low enugh resistance for them to function as a 1600 CCA, lol, or close, anyway

Sold it... :wtf:

BUT, I replaced it with something I've been eyeing for a long time now. I picked up a 2011 Ford Mustang GT Premium 5.0 w/ 6-speed manual transmission and only 7000 miles on the clock. I picked it up for a great deal and they gave me more than I expected on the truck. I'm really going to miss it but the new one will make it a bit easier.
