Reattached a rattling heat shield.

That's an annoying noise for sure. You're lucky you didn't have to just rip it off.

It had a stud break allowing the shield to lay on the exhaust. I applied some silicone caulk and used a 1/2" stainless sheet metal screw to attach it.

It feels good to get some independence back, I still don't have much movement in my right foot. So I installed this.View attachment 9351

Do you still have to use this, or is your foot/leg better and you can just use the gas pedal.

I'm still using it. I have very limited movement in my right foot. I moved to Mary's car Friday before we went to dinner for our anniversary.

I have no idea. The foot and ankle are still swollen and I have neuropathy now.

It is and at the end of the day it hurts some. I think its something I'll have to live with.
