I went to the doc Friday and he told me that this would be a full 6 week recovery. He told me that I seem to be healing well, but not to do anything stupid. He told me I was a mess...he found my colon in my nut sack.

Sorry to hear, just do what the Doc say's and take it easy. Enjoy the down time. I would imagine the weather is nasty anyway for anything work wise outside.

I haven't fixed it yet, but the damn drivers side door won't open from the inside. I don't know if it's the cable or the handle itself, so I ordered both. I'll have to live with it for now. It's to damn cold out there to be messing with it now. I do know from watching a video that it is a piss poor design. WTF!

It was on Monday, but close enough... Got aftermarket remote start/alarm installed.

No more 10 minute, two cycle limit

I have every intention of changing the oil and possibly fixing the broken door handle problem I have. I think the door handle cable broke and that will be less time consuming than fixing the Handle system. The oil hasn't been changed since September of last year and the truck did a lot of sitting with a few short trips since the end of November.

Update: I got both projects done. It's nice to be able to open the door from the inside again. I must have damaged the door lock switch. I can unlock the doors with the button, but I can't lock them. I didn't feel like taking it back apart to see what's up. It was the cable that was broke.

The power door lock must have had a demon attached to it. It has decided to work now.
