Yes I do. I need to do a pan drop and filter replacement on my truck.You know how I am about that.

I did that a couple of years ago. I should probably do it again. I changed the differential gear oil last year.

I have a pump that can use through the dipstick tube so it wont be so messy.

I just wish they'd put drain plugs on all transmission pans. My '99 and '01 both had one. Having one on the diff is nice. I need to do a coolant flush before to long. I may just take it some place and have that done.

Having one in the diff is nice. For some reason it seems to cut down on the smell of that nasty shit.

I have to look to determine if I have a deep or shallow pan on my trans before I do anything.Having one in the diff is nice. For some reason it seems to cut down on the smell of that nasty shit.

That would definitely be a factor in how much fluid to put back in. My transmission is the only thing I haven't switched over to Amsoil as far as engine, tranny and diff.
