The plugs on the truck are a hell of a lot easier than Mary's car. It took me about 5 hours to change them yesterday....
I know some of those sideways sitting engines can be a bitch. I won't touch one again.

I had to pull the intake plenum off and it had some bolts hidden. I told Mary that the next car she gets better have a 4 banger or have the motor sitting the way it's supposed to be...:D2

Especially the back one. I usually wind up using a few four letter words on that one plug alone.
I know it was a bitch on my '01 and it looks like it's going to be about the same pain in the ass if not worse on this one. :ohnoes:

The back passenger side plug on my 01 Suburban is by far the most difficult. I have a 1 inch extension that makes it the perfect legnth to get right in there and makes it a LOT easier. I've helped a few friends change theirs on Silverados and it was actually easier. I finally realized that my Burban has all the rear Air Conditioning shit in the way right there making that space even tighter. So on a pickup, it's a walk in the park in my opinion. Lol

That's why so many cars use Iridium plugs these days. The plugs are SO difficult to get to, that they use the 100k mile Iridium plugs so you won't have to replace them often. The average person should get at least 5-7 years out a set.

Her car has 106,000 so I thought I would do it over a long weekend just in case something went wrong...:D2
