I had the tires put on the new rims along with new TPMS sensors. I also put on new center caps that I've had since Christmas. :D
Now I have eight wheels and two sets of tires. That will make life a lot simpler when going from winter to summer tires and vice versa.

Changed the oil and filter and lubed the chassis. I was going to change the plugs and wires, but I couldn't find the damn 5/8 spark plug socket. I guess I need to buy some more tools and just leave them here at the house and take them with me when I want to work on my truck.

According to the OLM, I could have gone a few more miles. I just know it idled a little more at times this past winter and wanted to get it changed out.

I only got 4K on my oil this time. Winter, idle time, and remote starts really cut into the oil life, this time

I was a touch over 4,500 on mine.
I think I may have lost a wheel weight. The steering wheel is shaking when I hit the brakes at speeds above 45. I don't think it's a warped rotor...I don't feel it in the pedal. I'm wondering if they may have over torqued the shit out of the lug nuts, but it's been a little over a week since I had the wheels swapped out and it just started shaking on Tuesday I think, maybe Monday. :dunno:

Funny you say the shaking just started. When I was a
mechnic at our local Jeep dealer, we would get Jeeps in the shop with that issue. A lot of the time, it was mud caked up on the inside of the rim. Point is, sometimes its something simple. Another thing is, ballanceing tires needs to be done by a tech that cares and understands there job. The wrong setup of the rim on the balancer will give a faulse reading. I have had that issue with my 4 Runner. Factory alloy rims, but if the tech does not know the correct setup, my tires will not balance rite. It takes someone who knows 4 Runner rims set up for there balance mechine.

That's why I'm thinking a wheel weight fell off. These are brand new steel rims that I had summer tires mounted on. I haven't been in any mud and the suspension seemed pretty tight when I lubed the chassis this past Saturday. :dunno:
