Getting ready to order some oil for it :D

I used up my 2 free GM oil changes for the year, so I have to pay for the in betweener.

I get 2 more freebies starting in March

How many miles so far?

16,600

Going through about 5 gallons of DEF every 7K, and have yet to add any oil between changes @ 6-7K. The idle time in the cold weather has killed this oil change on the OLM. I only have 3K on it, and I am at 22%

I am really trying to live by the OLM on this engine. I am not sure if I will go full synthetic, and be done with the dealer oil changes, or just stick with the Mobil dino oil that they have been putting in.

I am at the Amsoil site, now. Ordering more 5w30 XL for momma's Tahoe, and 10w40 for the 'Busa...decisions, decisions...

Michael, are you limited to the # of oil changes you get on the gasser, per year?

Yours is thirsty on the sheep pee compared to how mine was... I wonder if it uses more when idling a lot?

Buy the Amsoil for the Dirty, it'll thank you, lol.

I'd also suggest a fuel filter change a little more often than the life meter suggests, the CP4 detests any possible restrictions or contaminants/water.

Yeah that is freaky. 16K miles, and the fuel filter life still shows 70%

I'm not as pretty as Michael, but I'll answer anyway...it's a max of 4 oil changes over the 2 years for the gas trucks. :)

Bastards! Gas guys get all the cool '15 stuff :D

WOW, idle time must work the DEF. I have yet to put any DEF in my Cruze diesel since I bought it back in May. So far I have 7k miles on it. At least there is a truck stop close by that sells it at the pump. Way cheaper than the jugs. I had one free oil change from the dealer. I asked for the oil and filter and I would change it. I wasn't due when I went up for them to install the proper year radio in my Cruze. It didn't read txt messages because it was a 2013 radio in a 2014 Cruze. Now all works well. :)

Towing eats the DEF. When I am dragging the equipment trailer with a mini excavator, or my travel trailer.

Pfffffffft. You people and your DEF. Bahahahaha!

On a side note, Scott, I suggest getting a FASS 95 for your truck... It brings the CP4 to life, lol

I flogged it on the way to work today... Found out I can break the tires loose @40MPH, in 4wd, on a road that before the lift pump, I couldn't break 'em loose unless it was from a dead stop...

Giggity.

All in due time, but for now there isn't any way to delete the emissions on the Cruze. Once someone figures out how to do that and have the computer work without them. I feel it will really wake the thing up. These are the numbers that the TRIFECTA tune I got is supposed to bring. +66WTQ / +51WHP. I must say the torque is great.
