Honda??? For got sakes, we are talking about Trucks here, not Lawn Mowers and Generators.

BTW, That's not a Honda bash, thats just saying they make great Lawn Mowers and Generators.
That is got to be the best avatar ever. My son watches it like four times a day.
Yeah I hear that alot, and on other forums too. Kids come in and see it on dad's computer and want to know if that's really Mater on the computer. Its generated a few PM's :D

im not brand bashing, but, ford was the first major assembly line in the early 1900s

they have had the least trouble with their finances

and they have spent big money recently that they havent had to borrow, or have gave to them, to build and redesign almost every model and powertrain in their line up

and there is no other brand that has the bucks to do that

new superduty with the 6.7

new f150 5.0, 6.2, and the ecoboost

new taraus(sp?) the ecoboost and new 6 spd

new exploror new 5.0 and ecoboost

new expedition 5.o, and 6.2 , and 6 spd

and the ecoboost v6 is already onna change the whole industry

i have enjoyed most brands exept honda:dunno:

but ford does have the brightest future :naughty:

Just an FYI, Ford was NOT the first major assembly line. Ford made it better, by using a conveyor belt, but a guy by the name or Ransom Olds invented the assembly line and was first to use it. Surely we have all heard of Oldsmobile. Oldsmobile was the first brand mass produced on an assembly line.

Nothing wrong with Ford having some successes. If we are a fan of a particular product, we tend to look at the successes and not the failures.

I'm good with that.

I disagreed with bailouts of any kind. GM would not have simply gone away like many were led to believe if the government had not offered up cash. They would have fallen back on their assets and come through just fine. It would have been tougher to do. It was easier to take the gov $$$ and move on.

GM is having their own share of grand successes. Great sums of money are being made. I won't produce a list for a prolonged pissing match, but there is nothing to indicate Ford or GM having a brighter future.

That is a matter of opinion.

We are not big on the Pantyline here.

I love my Honda car, but the Pantyline is a joke.

Thats also because they waited so long in between upgrades to their drivetrain. The 5.4 tritan for the f150, the 4.6 for the mustang, there 3.0 duratec. They hold onto to their drivetrains for too long and they get behind for awhile. Once they come out with an upgrade they make sure its a good one, but they still wait WAY too long before they upgrade some of their drivetrains, the 5.4 should have been replaced years ago. Tried and true only applies for so long lol.

Dont get me wrong, i like ford, gf owns a 2010 fusion and we love the car but i cancelled my order on my 2010 f150 because after driving the competition, i just felt i wasn't getting as much for the money as i was from other manufactures.
