Yeah, GM loves 10mm bolts. And 13mm (1/2 in) and 15mm. If you have those 3 sockets in short and deep, you can take most of the truck apart.

Wifey just left for work,her Burb fired right up and idled nicely with no strange noises or codes,she let it run for 30 seconds or so and drove off

Add a 7mm socket and you can take out just about the entire interior too!!

I have one question though.....how is this a CFI to MPFI conversion? Didn't you just replace the old module with the same thing?

No,the old one had the fuel control in the module and sent gas from there(via the tubes) to the poppit valve at the cylinder.On the new conversion the fuel is controlled by the module but the injector itself shoots the fuel into the combustion chamber at each cylinder.Notice the two wires following the tubes and the injector controller at the cylinder)they tell the injector when to open and for how long.Look closely you'll see 'em

Supposedly yes.I saw on another forum where a guy got a decent performance increase and double the mileage...yeah right,double? But even if it's a little increas it's good.This whole thing might pay for itself in a couple of years in gas savings

Yep I had a big smile when that engine fired up and ran smoothly

I suppose it'll take a few days for the PCM to relearn Linda's driving habits and be even better than it is right now
