You know, it’s kinda funny. One of the key complaints by modern muscle detractors is weight. The new Camaro is too heavy. The new Challenger is a big ol’ pig. Well, while we’ll never argue the benefits of power-to-weight ratios, it is nice to see a true hefty machine clicking off times that these lightweight-lovers can’t even reach.

That’s pretty dang fast especially considering his car weighs in at nearly 5,000 pounds.And what is it (in case you didn’t know)? How about a SRT8 Jeep Grand Cherokee! Able to accommodate the whole family, the four-door snaps off 60-foot times in 1.619-seconds.
While Keoni’s setup includes the same 393-cubic-inch HEMI plant, reworked heads, cam, and exhaust (along with a Nitrous Express nitrous kit), the Jeep is boosted by Vortech’s T-Trim Supercharger, pulleyed down and making just over 11psi, making this blacked-out SRT8 into the world’s fastest supercharged SRT8 Jeep. Of course, now that the 2011 Jeep SRT8 is going to feature the 392 HEMI, we think Keoni will have some competition!
