Won't hurt a thing.

I'd change the crankcase oil before starting it though. Pretty easy on those bikes.

After I got the cylinders lubricated I was going to change the oil and filter to get all the old crap out. I was thinking once its up and running I would run it around a few days then change the oil and filter again.

ordered the coils today. I removed the spark plugs and turned it over with the starter. It turns great. I used Marvel to lubricate the cylinders. When the coils come I hope to make some noise with it.

Here you go everyone. I need to install a petcock in my tank and in the mean time I want to start the bike. I decided to rig up a little tank. I decided to find what I had around the place to rig something up. This is what I came up with. A Can, cordless drill, brass fitting, 2-part apoxy and a stiff drink.

Drilled a hole in the can to accept the fitting

Then mixed up the apoxy and coated the fitting.

Inserted the fitting in the can to accept the fuel line.
After It dries I will show you the result and tell you how it works tomorrow.

That stuff turns into concrete. We use it at work and I have yet to see it get eaten away. I think for the amount of exposer time it will be okay.
