Where did you get that light bar?

-Looks good!
The light bar is the Recon White Lightning. I got it from Amazon. I've found that a lot of parts are the cheapest there. I put it WAY to high though. I had to heavily modify the holes on the light bar itself to drop it down as much as possible. It still rubs a little on the tailgate.

No we don't have inspections. Why would I fail it? Do they measure lumens of output?

Not lumens, but in states with inspections there's minimum wattage requirements and a minimum distance it must be visible from.

Before you install the headlights, take some silicone and seal the seams. The aftermarket stuff has a habit of leaking and this will help keep water out.

That's the one i've looked at on their website, but i found one almost exactly alike from jcwhitney.

I'll have to remember that. I read somewhere that everyone has moisture problems when the get new headlights / taillights. I have some clear silicone. Hopefully I don't run into this problem after sealing them.

I've never had anything from GaragePro. When it comes to these things, I stick with either Recon, StreetGlow, and Putco. I like my Recon, but if it breaks I might look at the StreetGlow because I think they have a lifetime warranty.

*****side note: my taillights shipped. My 1 bulb I put in is still being a pain. I thought I had it fixed, but now it doesn't light up when the running lights are on. I lights up with the brakes and turn signals so the HIGH setting is working, but not the LOW. I'm going to mess with it more tomorrow.*****

Sorry, I guess Amazon doesn't carry it anymore.
I'd check StreetSideAuto, RealTruck, and AutoAnything. I basically check a bunch of websites for prices before I order anything.

UPDATES

LEDs - The one that wasn't working on the low mode turned out that 1 of the wires going from the base back up into the bulb broke. Then when I pulled out the other one, it did the same thing. So I now have 2 broken 3057 red LED bulbs. I have emailed hidlightsusa.com saying that I want a full refund and will return all the LEDs I ordered. This little experiment will cost me at least $30 in shipping plus the $14 I spent on the electronic flasher (which I'm putting the stock one back in so I know when I have a burnt out bulb; and I don't think I can return the other one, but I'll try). This truck won't be going LED any time soon or maybe ever

Tail Lights & Head Lights - They will be here Tuesday and Wednesday. I'll be installing them all Wednesday afternoon. I'll be sure to put silicone around the seams as best I can. And I'll post pictures of before and after.

UPDATES

LEDs - Like I said before, I'm trying to return them. However hidlightsusa.com wants 20% restocking fee ($16 of my order total; not including shipping). I told them "so you're making money off me whether I send them back or keep them". Stores don't make money when you return something in person so why should they? Now they want me to call them. I'll be calling them later today.

Tail Lights - Got them last night. They're sweet! I can't wait to see how they look on the truck and lite-up. I just hope the bulbs aren't overly white. There is a little breather tube connected to the back of them. Since this is there, I'm not going to silicone them. I'll take pics of the tail lights themselves before installation, on the truck, and lite-up (hopefully it turns out).

Head Lights - Supposed to be here today.

Installing heads & tails tonight.

I'll be posting again this evening.
