If I went shopping today for a new truck... I doubt I would go anywhere but my local GMC store. I've driven Tacoma and Frontier (thinking I might want a smaller truck) but they just aren't enough truck... and after losing a transmission in EVERY Ford company vehicle I have ever had, Ford won't be getting any of my checks. Just not a Dodge guy either.

I've owned all three. One Ford, one Dodge, and five GM's. I guess that makes me a GM guy. Dodge burned me on a transmission (3 after said and done). I never liked the way a Ford drove, pulling a load they seemed to have more front end "sway", if you will, and wore the hell out of tires. I will say now though, Fords kill'in it on interiors. And from what I've heard, they drive great and have a awesome ride quality. My Dad just bought a new F350 (his first Ford), so I shall soon give it a test run. I don't need a dually at all, but I'd entertain a F250

You name it I've probably owned one! My last two trucks have been GM, but I've owned mazda's x3, Nissans, never a Mopar truck, but lots of Mopar cars over the years. Had a Ford (hippy) Van back in my youth too.

In 1988 I owned a Ford Thunderbird with a 302 V8. I really liked it, but god what a piece of shit it was.
When I had enough disappointment and was tired and piss off about sinking so much money in the Bird, I bought my first Toyota.(spontaneous anger reaction) An 88 Corolla. In five years and 78,000 miles I replaced the battery, a muffler and a set of tires.

The Yota was the most trouble free car I'd ever owned. I've been a fan since, and as a matter of fact, just bought an 07 Corolla CE 5spd yesterday, my eighth over the years.

I bought my GMC Crew, cause I thought it beautiful compared to other makes and models in 08, and my 03 Chevy it replaced, had been just as reliable as my Yota's had proven to be.
Will I replace my GMC with a Tundra when the time comes...doubt it!

Ford and Dodge have GM beat when it comes in the interiors. It remains to be seen if GM will improve their interiors enough with the 2014. Spy photos don't give me much hope.

GM wins in the exterior department for me.

I looked at Ford and Dodge this week. They just don't do it for me. Plus their resale doesn't compete to GM's.

All 3 are good trucks and it comes down to personal preference. I'm still a GM guy.

I have owned all 3 and been happy with all of them. I would prefer a GM product, but I am very happy with what I have now.

My family was always a GM family but I finally wanted something other than a truck and was pretty set on a midsize SUV, which GM doesn't make so here I am with the Jeep. My mom even jumped ship back in April and bought an Edge. I pretty much seem to just decide what I want: truck, SUV, etc and then look around for which one I like the best. I look at price but if the vehicle I really want is more expensive (within reason) than another one I kind of like I'm going to spend the extra and get what I really want.
