If you aren't going to paint the door openings and under the hood, leave it the color it is. Nothing looks worse than a car painted one color... only to reveal another color inside the doors when they are open.

NOTHING.

That would look good, or the silver or dark gray w/ flake would look good. Ya know I've always liked a maroon truck with the tan interior. Could you work that in reverse? Some sort of tan/gold exterior with the maroon interior?

Is it your plan to redo the interior at some point? If so, paint it the color you want and live with it until then...

Keep this in mind my truck was custumized and they must have used a lot of clear cause to date the fade job looks real good and the hood and roof are fading thats factory paint they didn't touch them im going to paint them maybe this week.

I had also seen on some show one should spray six coats of clear because when one wet sands it three coats come off. My two cents.
