This section feels lonely as of late. I'm getting ready to re-stock on detailing supplies. I will be ordering strictly from Adam's, as their inventory has greatly increased since my original purchases from them. Just waiting on my tax returns....

Will be doing another full detail of the truck pretty soon. I'll be sure to post as I go along.

Definitely. I'm expecting to drop a couple hundred on basic supplies, so a 10% discount is pretty substantial.

An Adam's package was on my doorstep when I got home today.

Today's package contained:

All Purpose Cleaner
VRT
Undercarriage Spray
Metal Polish

I've been looking a lot at your detailing thread lately seeing what all I need to start acquiring because I'd like to do the same this summer. Mine is really starting to need it and I want to start my last semester in college off with a beautiful truck. Thanks for all the guides!

I need to order some stuff. I'm afraid to dig out my detailing box as I left it in the garage all winter to freeze. I am not looking forward to replacing all the stuff I bought last year if it got ruined...

No problem! When I first started out I used Adam's products. After that I decided to try out different products (primarily Meg's). One always has to find what works best for them since there are so many methods/preferences in detailing. Generally they all accomplish the same thing if you use everything properly.

I've decided to go back to Adam's products this time around. I'd like to start from scratch and use strictly Adam's, but I also need to finish up some of the other stuff I have laying around. Their inventory and selection has increased dramatically since I last visited their site. Not to mention everything they sell is made in the U.S.A.

I have had that problem several times by forgetting I had stuff out in the truck. Most of it thaws out fine, but I'm not sure how everything would be affected.

I made a quick list of everything I'd like to purchase from Adam's this go-round. Unfortunately I'm somewhat broke, and this entire list would run me around $1,000 (including the heavy-duty vacuum and force dryer). So I'm going to shorten the list by scratching out things I already have. Will also leave out stuff that I don't need. I'll pick up everything once I get a full-time job and have the money.

Here is everything I would like to have:

Interior
  • Big Vacuum (for that dang pet hair)
  • Carpet Cleaner
  • Carpet Brush
  • Leather Cleaner
  • Leather Conditioner
  • Leather Brush
  • Glass Cleaner
  • Application Pads
  • Microfiber Towels
Exterior
  • Force Dryer (doubles up as a tool to de-shed my dog )
  • Trim/Lug Brush
  • Fire Hose Nozzle
  • Super VRT
  • Fine Machine Polish
  • Swirl & Haze Remover
  • Clay Bar
  • Americana Wax
  • Glass Cleaner
  • Glass Sealant
  • E-Z-Fill Funnel
  • Wax Applicator Pads
  • Microfiber Towels
  • PowerStick
  • Undercarriage Spray
  • Detail Spray
  • Car Wash Soap
  • Waterless Wash
  • Block Sponges
  • All-Purpose Cleaner
  • Green Wheel Cleaner
  • In & Out Spray
  • Wheel Brush
  • Tire/Fender Brush

Based on what I have, here is my likely list:

Interior
  • Leather Cleaner
  • Leather Conditioner
  • Microfiber Towels
Exterior
  • Super VRT
  • Glass Sealant
  • E-Z-Fill Funnel
  • Microfiber Towels
  • PowerStick
  • Undercarriage Spray
  • Block Sponges
  • All-Purpose Cleaner
  • Green Wheel Cleaner
  • In & Out Spray
  • Wheel Brush
Possibility:
  • Force Dryer (doubles up as a tool to de-shed my dog )

Total Cost for "Likely List" (minus Force Dryer):
$331.10
-TMC Discount (10%)
===============
$297.99

:uhoh:

Big purchase, but it will be nice to start taking good care of the truck again.
