Thoughts on this truck? **UPDATE See Post #144**

Overpriced, and the pre-94 (non-turbo) 7.3 diesels were total dogs. I would definantly pass and keep looking. I have seen some pretty decent deals on CL here since gas prices went through the ceiling.

I agree its overpriced, but doesn't mean they went budge on the price. I'm not lookin for a fast truck by any means, just something to take hunting and haul stuff ocasionally.

By buddy has a 7.3 IDI. Its not a bad engine. They are very easy to get a little more power out of. I would put the power right in line with the 460. Maybe even a little more. Rust free I would expect to pay around 5K for that. ATS has a turbo upgrade kit for that engine and there is more after market support for them. If I were in the market for another truck I might drive out and steal it from ya.

i agree with most said already. thats pretty high. i could get a Crewcab 97 f250 turbo 7.3 for that. even with 250K its a deal haha
