The adjuster is here. I flat out asked him about my iPod and other stuff missing. He said the way the policy is worded, they do not cover any personal property under an automotive policy. It should all be covered under an extension of your homeowners policy. An automotive policy will only cover something that is physically part of the vehicle, or permanently attached to the vehicle solely for use in the vehicle. I explained that although my iPod, GPS, and flashlight were not physically attached or mounted, they were solely for use in my vehicle. He said all that is a gray area, along with radar detectors. He said he feels they should be covered, but he doesn't make the rules. 
He said he only deals with vehicle damage, I will have to call and try and fight with them on the other stuff. He is out in his van now, writing up his report and estimate.
