I still consider the idea of get a Samurai for me, but it's hard to see any for sale here.

No, they're made in India. I remember some hoaxes about a reintroduction of the Samurai in the South American market from Indian CKD kits to be fitted with Fiat engines but this didn't happen...

well i ordered the OTS steering kit, extended slip yoke, and a few other things for it last night so they should be here this weekend.

while im waiting on parts i decided to go to best buy and get a cheap stereo system for it.

$150 later i had a head unit and some speakers. i just wired it up to a switch since i don't care if the memory works plus it was just easier since no company makes a wiring kit for samurai's since they are old analoge radios to begin with.

the wires are cleaned up more, i took the pic right after i got in it.

A cool sound system is a good feature for the trail rig, but be extremely careful with insulation of the electric contacts...

oh yeah its always nice to have a radio to listen to. me and my buddy got tired of the ricer sounding exhaust on the samurai real quick one night on like a 10 minute drive and i decided a radio was coming soon.
