I bet it's still harder to enforce the usage of DEF into boats and stationary machinery than into trucks

Having to carry a DEF jug on a boat doesn't seem any good

glad to see you're deleting it. I haven't ever put any def fluid in my 250.

We are going Tier 4f on all our off highway engines next year.

So far, most are being handled with DOC, so we only have DEF in the SCR for a few of the smaller engines.

I have 32K miles on mine. I purchased two 3-packs of DEF off of Amazon in May of '15. I still have 1 of those 2.5 gallon jugs left, and my tank is about half full (guessing)

GM paid for 4 top offs while in for the free services. Conservatively, I am figuring that I have used 20 gallons of DEF in that 32K miles. My lifetime fuel average is 14.5 mpg, so it seems about right for the mileage.

Since I purchased my Cruze diesel in May of 2015, I have put 2.5 gallons of DEF in it once. Right now it tells me that my DEF level is OK. I purchased it with 13k miles on it and it now has 40K.
