Guess I have to find someone else to program the monster.

Check out the AutoCal. You can work with Justin and have him send tunes via email.

Hoping my tranny guy can support that kinda hp without loosing the 4l60e. I do have a 4l80e we can build, but would rather use the 60. Less hp loss than the 80.

That's gonna be tough, if not impossible, especially in such a heavy truck.

Everything else sounds awesome though.

Jenna,

You still in va? I'm going to have to get someone to tune this thing when I'm done. I use a local guy, but he can't seem to get the start cycle right and I feel this may be out of his league. Even if he does think he's the best.

Sorry, we are in CA now, but Justin does make some trips to the VA area frequently. We could ge tyou hooked up with an AutoCal if you were interested in that route.

So, a small update. We will be using a dart block and a set of edelbrock heads (so far). With the edelbrock throttle body. The pistons have to be replaced so we will bore it out to about 406ci. Settled on the 12 rib pro charger and a small block set up vs the vortec. I'm getting excited about this. Going from a 383 sbc to a 406 supercharged sbc will be cool.

Spent some time with my engine builder today, discussed possibly doing a LS engine as well as some other ideas. The final plan settled on was a set of edelbrock heads, these are cnc ported and monster 23 degree heads. The intake valve looks big enough to set a beer can in.

The block will be bored and stroked to 427ci. We have selected a possible intake to be sent to Wilson to be matched to a throttle body and installed with fuel injectors. We ate still looking at the pro charger 1DSC with 12psi boost.

More info as the project develops.
