The XR4ti's are pretty cool. Same motor as a Thunderbird Turbo Coupe and Mustang SVO. They can be made to go real quick.
I also like the Dodge Rampage. Swap a 2.2 turbo into one and it would be much better.
I didnt think Acura Legends were hard to find. Take a quick drive thru the 'hood and youll find several of them.

Susan had an 87 Conquest, bright red to boot. It was a blast to drive and I found the sale sticker in the glove box. $18k brand new. She traded it in on a Jeep Cherokee Sport after we got married.

I agree as well I wouldn't mind one for the gas mileage. Guys in 1988 I had a 1984 Mazda 626 coupe LX I tell you it really was the best little car I have ever had and fun yes I know it's not American but that little car was peppy plus I put in better speakers and would make 34 miles to a gallon way back then.
I have heard of some guy that buys Geo cars and fixxes them up because of the MPG he has a waiting list because they make good mpg.

Dodge Rampage 2.2= HAWT
The CRX, Acura Legend, VW Scirocco, Merkur were all okay cars. The Scirocco is better looking in it's first gen version personally, but I still like the car in general.
My pops bought one of these new back in the day. We had the Dodge version which was the Conquest and the one they used for the picture. Awesome looking car for the 80's.
