Both had the V8. I never tow or do heavy hauling so went with the 8.. The replacement one lasted about a year before I traded it for my 150. Wifey always called it my rebound girl...

My first service truck, 2001 F350 w/7.3l, put 300k kms on that girl, sad to have to get put in an 05 after that one...

Then my 05, F350 with 6.0l, put on just under 180k

Then my second 05 with another company.
