Thanks for the link Tobias. what's the deal with the crank relearn though? I don't do PC's. Would a Macbook Pro work? lol

I am happy about the coils, no doubt. Sounds like those guys should help you avoid issues going forward!

You may not even need to do a crank relearn with the Autocal but if you do, you can do it yourself.

You will need a PC or a PC virtual machine.

Not sure if this would save you any money or not but there is an Autocal for sale here. Justin can let you know cost wise if it would be any less expensive. It's an option.

I have three tunes I can run when ever I want, an econo tune, sport tune and a Tow/haul tune. Easy to change around.

That's what I am going for with mine. MPG's, Normal Tune, Normal with Tow/Haul set to Haul Ass and then one that's all out performance. I also like the thought of having the stock tune available to help show others just exactly what the difference is pre and post tune.

That's the absolute best sales tool.

And why not just have different PCM's tuned by Justin Ic an swap out, why would I need that AutoCal plug device?

The Autocal lets you change tunes (and also speeds up the tuning process significantly) with the push of a few buttons rather than having to swap computers.

'Lurch' seems interested too. :D

How much of the $549 would that account for?

This you would have to talk to Justin about, that is just it, not sure if it is worth it if he is asking to much for it, it all depends and Justin will be able to let you know.

To much work, so easy to just plug into the OBD II port and swap out tunes in a matter of a minute or so. You want to have fun and "balls to the wall" fun put the tune in. OK now you just want an econo tune so you can get the best mpg out of the truck because you are taking on a trip or something, just put that tune in. You can keep the AutoCal in the truck to and it makes the changes easy when ever you want.

Did the dealer flash your eBCM for your gears and tires? That would rid of all the ABS/SES issues before even messing with the tune!

I had an EFI Live tune and it's never been right from the start, and I'm tired of taking 90 minutes trips to ECS to have it done. I have 35" tires, 4.88 gears so Justin would have to be 100% certain he could tune my truck and not have warning lights light up on my dash.

I just lost me entire EFI live tune because the dealer replaced my PCM out of warranty claiming it had an internal short.
